Coated Swing Chains
Our swing chains come with a soft plastic coating to prevent pinches and protect little fingers from getting caught. The coating also keeps the chains cool and safe during play.
Interior-Mounted Panel Slats
For added security, all panel slats are mounted on the inside of the playset, preventing them from being pushed out during active play. This ensures stability while keeping kids safe. We like to say stability first, fun second (but still super fun).
Heavy-Duty Hardware
Big swings, bigger fun! We use huge 4x6 swing beams that are the standard on al of our swing sets. For our single swing beam units we use a one-piece heavy-gauge steel swing beam bracketing system with a rigid 4 x 6 swing beam and 4 x 4 swing legs. Our industrial-grade hardware is designed to withstand years of outdoor play (and years of you watching them play). Our 5/16” and 3/8” electro-galvanized hardware ensures maximum strength, and our swing chains are tested to support up to a whapping 800 pounds!
UV Protected & Reinforced Slides
Our slides are built tough, with UV protection to keep them cool and fade-free, no matter how much the sun beats down. Plus, with extra-wide landing beds and high sides, every slide ensures a safe ride!

We use larger, hand-selected Cedar lumber that’s naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insects. With massive 4x6 laminated timber swing beams and extra-thick deck boards, Gorilla Playsets are built for maximum strength and long-lasting durability.
Dimensionally Stable
Laminated timbers are less prone to twisting, warping, or checking compared to solid wood beams. The lamination process reduces imperfections, making each board work together to create a more stable, reliable playset that will last longer.
Stronger Than Steel
Pound for pound, laminated timbers are stronger than steel. After testing at the Forest Products Laboratory, our 6,000-pound beams withstood an incredible 95,800 pounds of weight. That’s the kind of strength you can count on!
